1 Information We Collect
From Sellers:
- Name and business information
- Email address and phone number
- Social media handles (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Billing settings, platform fee configuration, and trial status
- Payment QR codes for receiving payments
- Shop logo and branding (optional)
- Product information, images, QR card assets, product links, and fallback product codes
- Shop verification responses, public profile URLs, and supporting evidence when KodKon requests verification
From Buyers:
- Name and phone number
- Delivery address
- Payment proof screenshots (when applicable)
- Order preferences and notes
2 How We Use Your Data
We use the information collected to:
- Facilitate order placement and management
- Connect buyers with sellers through QR product links, seller pages, and product codes
- Share buyer information with sellers for order fulfillment
- Verify payment screenshots and payment QR details
- Confirm seller control of a represented shop identity and investigate trust-and-safety concerns
- Calculate platform fees and trial eligibility
- Send order confirmations and updates
- Improve platform functionality and user experience
- Provide customer support
3 Data Sharing
When you place an order:
Your buyer information (name, phone, address, payment proof) is shared with the seller to fulfill your order. This is necessary for delivery and communication.
We do NOT:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your information for marketing purposes
- Use your data for purposes other than order fulfillment
4 Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored securely on our servers
- Payment proof images are retained only while needed for verification, billing records, return or exchange handling, security, or legal obligations
- Seller verification evidence is stored privately and restricted to authorized KodKon reviewers
- We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information
- Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel only
- We regularly review and update our security practices
5 Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies to:
- Keep you logged in to your account
- Remember your preferences
- Ensure platform security (CSRF protection)
We do NOT use tracking cookies for advertising or analytics beyond basic usage statistics.
6 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data at any time
- Request corrections to inaccurate information
- Request deletion of eligible personal data, subject to record-keeping and legal obligations

7 Data Retention
- Active account data is retained as long as your account exists
- Order history is kept for 2 years for record-keeping
- Payment proof screenshots are retained only as needed for verification or resolving an order, return, or exchange issue
- Seller verification evidence is retained only while needed for trust-and-safety review, audit, security, or legal obligations
- Personal data approved for deletion is removed within a reasonable timeframe, except records we must retain
8 Children's Privacy
KodKon is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover such data, it will be deleted immediately.
9 Policy Changes
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We'll notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
